Tom Bob Sinclair, age 83, of Lindsay passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born to T. L. Sinclair and Maud McMurtry Sinclair on January 24, 1920 in Lindsay. Tom Bob was a life long resident of Lindsay and graduated from Lindsay High School. He worked for Rural Electric Cooperative and retired after 34 years of service. Tom Bob was a member of First Baptist Church where he was baptized in 1969. He was also a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge, served on the school board, and was a honorary member of the Lindsay FFA. Tom Bob enjoyed farming, visiting with friends, taking care of his dog and cat, Molly and Tiger, enjoying sports, doing things for others and loving his family. He served as a Sargent in the US Army during World War II. Tom Bob is survived by his daughter Janet Janousek and husband, Ron, of Lindsay. Sister Ella Marie Langworthy of Tulsa. Grandchildren Valerie Bailey of Denton, TX; Josh and Jennifer Janousek of Gunnison, CO. He is preceded in death by his wife June Shoemake Sinclair. They were married on February 7, 1948 in Lindsay. Siblings Madeline Gayman, Murriel Bales, and Ennis Sinclair. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2003, at First Baptist Church in Lindsay with Rev. Monty Baggett officiating. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bob Ashley, Brownie Drennan, Cody Dutton, Mark Gosnell, Robin Russell, Lynn Rolen, Johnny Waters, and Dennis Mote. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Loafman, Ray Wall, Grady Bunch, Ray Newby, Everett Gregory, Curtis Hayes, Gerald Yarbrough, Raymond Dew, Price (V. P.) Akers, Carl Dutton, Foch Davis, Kenneth Williams, Houston Standridge, and Junior Crawford. Memorial may be viewed online at www.boydstonfuneralhome.com Arrangements are with B. G.
