Victor Ray Cacy

Victor Ray Cacy departed this life on November 28th, 2009 at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 84. Vic was born on September 25, 1925 in Haywood, Oklahoma to Isreal Sidoris Cacy and Daisie Dean (Ezell) Cacy. He married Margaret Spann on June 15th, 1989 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Vic was a veteran of World War II. He served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps where he trained and flew in a Douglas Dive Bomber as an airborne radar operator. Vic had several businesses in Lindsay over the years. He had service stations, sold cars for the Chevrolet dealership, had his own used car lot and parts store. After selling the parts store, he started a new career in lawn care. He loved taking care of his "girlfriends" yards. Vic loved his Lord and Savior and teaching Bible Classes. He served for many years in Calvary Baptist Church, and for the last three years, he was active in the Hughes Baptist Church. Mr. Cacy is survived by his wife, Margaret Cacy of the home, his son, Jim Cacy of Norman, Oklahoma, one granddaughter, Annie Glynn Gharapetian and husband Kamo of Pontiac Michigan, one grandson, Keith Albin and wife Becky of Tulsa, Oklahoma and four great-grandchildren; Molly, Abigail, Jeremy and Sharon. Vic also leaves behind brothers and sisters-in-law; Raymond and Janey Biggs of Abilene, Texas, Julia and Johnny Henson of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Sue and Ray Clark of Comanche, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces; Robert Cacy and wife Donna of Chickasha, Lloyd Smith and wife Mary Ann and their children Loiann, Cheryl, Cindy and Stephenie of Bakersfield, California, Ray Harjo of Oklahoma City, David Cacy and wife Gena of Roswell, New Mexico, Stephen McConnico and wife Veronica of San Antonio, Texas, Patricia Cacy of Chickasha, Debbie Oberst of Norman, OK and her daughters Jennifer Brownell and Katy Roten, Opal Walker of Guthrie, OK, Darlene Mayberry and Jeannie Cacy of Riverside, California, Steven Biggs of California, David Biggs of Florida, Kevin Biggs of California, Jason, Shanda, Micah and Grace Henson of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Jennifer, Ron, Zachary and Elissa Hentschel of Springtown, Texas, Justin and Christina Henson of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Jeffery, Tara and Savannah Clark of Comanche, Oklahoma, Patty, David, Rachel and Jessie Barnes of Edmond, Oklahoma. Vic was preceded in death by his first wife, Emily Glynn Shields Cacy, his parents, his brothers, Clint and Clifford Cacy, his sisters; Lorene Cacy, Gladys Cacy, Virgie May Smith, Marie McConnico and Cecile Harjo. Funeral services for Mr. Cacy are set for ten o?clock a.m. on Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma with Rev. Ron Blankenship officiating assisted by Rev. Ronnie Blankenship. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay. Services are under the direction of B.G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
