Samantha Ann Bunnell

Samantha “Sammy” Ann Bunnell was born to Scott Miller and Julie (Bunnell) Miller on February 16, 1991, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She passed from this life too soon on October 26, 2024, at her home in Chickasha, Oklahoma, at the age of 33. Samantha spent her childhood in Elk City, Oklahoma, before moving to the Alex, Oklahoma area, where she spent the last ten years of her life. Samantha fell in love with the man of her dreams, Coy Morris. They spent seventeen wonderful years together before her passing. Samantha worked at Longhorn Express in Alex until she became ill. Her Longhorn family loved her very much. She also enjoyed helping her husband, Coy, with the cattle on the farm. She loved to work, but never had a desire to drive until she finally got her license at twenty-six years old. Samantha was an avid dog and animal lover. She got great joy from taking care of animals and bottle-feeding goats and cattle. Samantha was also very talented, and loved creating with her hands and sewing machine. She made many things, including dolls, curtains, and dog collars. Samantha’s family was everything to her. She found great fulfillment in being there for them in both big things and small. Samantha acted as a mother to everyone’s children and adopted them under her wing when needed. For the last five years of her life, Samantha raised two of her nieces as her own. Samantha was also a devoted member of the West Side Church of Christ in Alex, Oklahoma. She loved being able to help at the church in any way she could. Left to cherish Samantha’s memory are her husband, Coy Morris, of the home, her parents, Scott and Julie Miller of Elk City, Oklahoma, her mother-in-law Dianna Morris of Chickasha, Oklahoma, her two nieces, Rheanna Montalbo and Gracie Montalbo, of the home, her sisters Brittini Flowers and husband Bryce of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Chelsea Miller and husband Brandon of Sayre, Oklahoma, her brothers, JD Miller and wife Faith of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Tyler Miller and wife Paige Barnes of Elk City, Oklahoma. Samantha is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ronnie Morris. A viewing for Samantha is set to begin on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Wilbourn Family Funeral Home Chapel in Alex, Oklahoma. A graveside funeral service to honor Samantha will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Alex Cemetery in Alex, Oklahoma.
