Frankie Darlene Nunn

Frankie Darlene (Patton) Nunn was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Joe Windon Patton and Gladys Mae (Lail) Patton. She passed from this life at her home in Erin Springs, Oklahoma, on July 7, 2021, at the age of 68. Darlene has been a resident of Erin Springs for most of her life. She spent a lot of her working life at a print shop as a type setter for government printing. Darlene married Bobby Leo Nunn in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Chapel of Love on April 16, 1999. They celebrated twenty-two years filled with love and laughter. Darlene enjoyed playing the one-armed Bandit. She was a talented songwriter and loved to sing. she sang for a country western band and came close to having a record made. She was an amazing cook and cooked for all the family gatherings. She also enjoyed to travel. Everyone who knew her would say her greatest treasure was her family. She was very family oriented and loved all the time that she got to spend with her husband, children, grandchildren, and other family members. They enjoyed camping trips and every holiday together. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Bobby Nunn of Erin Springs, Oklahoma; her children, Robin McMasters and husband Josh of Central, Oklahoma, Micah Kluth and Candice of Burns Flatt, Oklahoma, Christopher Nunn and wife Trisha of Kansas, and Kevin Nunn and wife Patty of Lindsay, Oklahoma; her sister, Florence Draper and Robert Dill of Marlow, Oklahoma; her brothers, Jimmy Patton and wife Lynda of Mead, Oklahoma, Mike Patton and wife Tammy of Lindsay, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Leo McMasters, Brandon Kluth, Kassie Kluth, and Kenny Kluth ; her step grandchildren Conner and Parker Nunn. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Gladys Patton, a son Eric Nunn, and brothers, Billy Patton, Tony Patton, and Bobby Patton. A funeral service to honor the life of Darlene is set to begin at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the Wilbourn Family Funeral Home Chapel located in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She will be laid to rest at the Erin Springs Cemetery in Erin Springs, Oklahoma following the service. Services are under the direction of Scott and Angel Wilbourn of Wilbourn Family Funeral Home.
