Cloy Belle Wade

Cloy Bell Wade went to be with her Lord on January 24, 2006 at the age of 80. She was born on October 9, 1925 to William Henry Ballard and Hattie Mae Horne Ballard in Red Oak, Oklahoma. Cloy was a life long resident of Lindsay. She married Robert Wade on September 14, 1981 in Gainsville, Texas. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as cooking, sewing, fishing, traveling and eating out. She was a member of the Erin Springs Church of God. Cloy is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Donald Wayne Ballard, John D. Ballard, and two sisters, Bessie May Ballard Elledge, and Pauline Margaret Ballard West and one grandson, Brandon W. Lamb. She is survived by her husband, Robert Wade, three daughters, Quala Rue Scruggs Chism and husband Kenneth of Lindsay, Gail Janette Scruggs Davis and husband Doyle of Lindsay, and Carolyn Sue Scruggs Owens and husband, Wayne of Foster, four step children, Robert Wade Jr., Bruce Wade and wife Diana, Cindy Golden, Marty Wade and wife Tammy, one sister, Helen Geneva Ballard Todd, of Phoenix, Arizona, one brother, Gene Autry Ballard, of Florence, Arizona. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Tammy J. Torres and husband Sergio, Lynda DeAnn Robison and husband A.D. Robison, Sherri A. McClanahan and husband Shawn, Rebecca L. Davis, Alissa and husband Dee Gregory, Stacy and husband Mike Roady, seven step-grandchildren; Justin, Matthew, Alejandro, Robert, Jami, Joseph, and Marti Ann, eleven great grandchildren; Jeremy K. Lamb, Nicholas P. Lamb, Michael T. Lamb, Cassandra V. Torres, Maegan D. Robison, Avery D. Robison, Justin C. McClanahan, Jacob C. McClanahan, Grant W. Coles, Jordan W. Coles, Brock M. Roady, three step great grandchildren, Alyssa, Anthony, Skylar and one great-great grandchild, Cadence M. Lamb. Cloy was loved by all and will truly be missed. Services for the celebration of Cloy?s life are scheduled for Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Erin Springs Baptist Church. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, Oklahoma.
