Cecil M. Boydston

Cecil M. "Buck" Boydston of Lindsay, Oklahoma departed from this earthly life on Monday, February 20, 2012, at his home at the age of 84. Buck was born on May 17, 1927 in Stephens County, Oklahoma to William McKinley Boydston and Bertha Willie (Wainscott) Boydston. He married Ruby Jewell Adams on January 26, 1976 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Buck served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. He was a retired oilfield supervisor. Buck was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lindsay and the American Legion. Mr. Boydston is survived by his wife, Ruby Jewell Boydston, four sons; Bob Gary of Tucson, Arizona, Larry "Butch" Boydston of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Darell Gary of Kansas City, Missouri and Howard "Bo" Boydston of Roy, Washington, one daughter, Donna Thomas of Blacksburg, South Carolina, three sisters; Jewel Milspaugh of Chandler, Arizona, Mary Jones of Chandler, Arizona, Barbara Wright of Snowflake, Arizona and one brother, Leondard "Newt" Boydston of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Buck also leaves behind his grandchildren; Larry Thomas of Shelby, North Carolina, Brice Gary of Eugene, Oregon, Brandi Gary of New York City, NY, Brett Gary of Seattle, Washington, DeNeill Gary-Ruppert of Topanga, California, Ginger Owens of Blacksburg, SC, Jenifer Nazarowski of Tacoma, WA, Jasai Hibdon of Tacoma, WA, Kenneth Klein of Houston, TX and Kimberly Claborn of Claremore, TX along with his great-grandchildren; Luke Gary of Ugene, OR, Maxwel Ruppert of Topanga, CA, Jay Tyler Owens of Blacksburg, SC, Jaycee Owens of Blacksburg, SC, Madison Thomas of Shelby, NC, Kendall Hibdon of Tacoma, WA, Brooke Hibdon of Tacoma, WA, Trenton Nazarowski of Tacoma, WA, Kamran Nazarowski of Tacoma, WA, Kenlee Claborn of Claremore, TX and Ella Claborn of Claremore, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, William McKinley and Bertha Willie Boydston, one sister, Maxine Harper and two brothers, Max Boydston and Dink Boydston. . Funeral services for Mr. Boydston are set for two o?clock p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma with Pastor Randy Allen officiating and Buck's son, Bo Boydston, assisting. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay. Services are under the direction of B.G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
