Carolyn Sue Williams

Carolyn Sue (Morris) Williams of Alex, Oklahoma, passed from this life Monday evening February 8, 2016. Carolyn was born to Edna Marie (Hill) Morris and Elijah Coy Morris on March 24, 1956 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She grew up in the Friend Community east of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and graduated from Amber-Pocasset High School in 1974. Carolyn married Felix Clayton Williams, Jr. in Gainesville, Texas, by a Justice of the Peace on April 16, 1975. She and Felix lived in the Alex, Oklahoma area for the last thirty years. Carolyn attended the Westside Church of Christ in Alex. She worked as a Home Health Care aide and had also worked at the Chickasha hospital; but the thing she liked best was when she got to be a stay-at-home mom. She cherished the times she spent taking care of her children and grandchildren. When her children were home she cooked all the time. When her children left home and would gather back together for the holidays, Carolyn would cook for them their favorite meal; chicken and dumplings. In Carolyn’s leisure time she enjoyed fishing and playing “Royal Wheels” at the casinos. Her favorite color was blue, which showed by the way she decorated her home. She also enjoyed collecting and decorating with butterflies. Carolyn is survived by her husband Felix; her mother Edna Marie Morris; her two daughters Misty Michelle Salie and husband Chris of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Cecilia Marie Walthall and husband William of Alex, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren: Elijah Dale Salie, Nola Noel Salie, Jaysiey-Mae Coleen Williams, Lonnie Walthall, Jr., Nathan Clayton Michael Walthall, Skylar Cole Walthall, Lorelei Elizabeth Walthall, Jonathan Wayne Michael, Felix Clayton Williams IV, and Billy Ryan Williams; and two great-grandchildren: Adin and Talon. Carolyn is also survived by one brother Ronnie Joe Morris and wife Dianna of Tabler, Oklahoma; and one sister Sharon Marie Morris of Chickasha, Oklahoma. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Elijah Coy Morris, her brother Allen Dale Morris, and one son Felix Clayton Williams, III. Graveside services for Carolyn are set for one o’clock P.M., Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Alex Cemetery, Alex, Oklahoma. Jim Coale will be officiating. Services are under the direction of B.G.
