Beulah Elizabeth Conley

Beulah Elizabeth (Shepard) Conley was born on June 29, 1924 in Custer City, Oklahoma to Elmer Shepard and Daisy (Delp) Shepard. She passed from this life on February 17, 2018 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Beulah moved to Lindsay in the 50’s and she was a resident until 1994 when she moved to Kingfisher, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church here in Lindsay. She married Charley M. Reed in 1942 and they had five children. She later married Joe Bill Conley in 1968 and they had one child. Beulah loved to watch TV game shows; her most favorite was the Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right. She also enjoyed sitting down to read a good book. But her most favorite pastime was spending it with her family, getting to talk with them, and cooking for all her kids, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Her door was always open to her family no matter what time it was. She spent her life as a homemaker, cooking and baking for her family gatherings. Beulah leaves behind her children: Patsy L. Reed of Waco, Texas, Charley M. Reed Jr. of Wayne, Oklahoma, Frances E. Lewis of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Beulah F. Smith of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, and Barbara A. Conley-Moshe and husband Avner of Short Hills, New Jersey, her grandchildren: Daisy Anisa (Bell) Hunter, Beulah Michelle “Chelle” Bell, Matt Lewis, Jason Reed, Charlotte Hamm, Crystal Williams, Jennifer West, Russell Reed, LaKrisha Northrup, Trevor Smith, Dana Smith, Tyler Smith, Chastity Reed, Susan Driscoll, Tabitha Sherrill, Amy Gutierrez, Derrick Reed, Silas Moshe, thirty-seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Daisy Shepard, her first husband Charley Reed, her second husband Joe Conley, one son Danny Ray Reed, one grandson Michael Scott Reed, one great grandson Alec Sutton, nine brothers, and two sisters. Beulah was a joy to be around and she touched the lives of all those she met. She will be truly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Beulah are set to begin at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Boydston Funeral Home Chapel in Lindsay, Oklahoma with Dennis Clark officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at the Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Scott Wilbourn with Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
