Benjamin Paul Capps Jr

Benjamin Paul Capps, Jr. was born on September 5, 1942, in Bradley, Oklahoma, to Paul Schoolfield and Mary Ruth (Badertscher) Schoolfield. He entered into his eternal rest on January 22, 2023, in Ada, Oklahoma, at the age of 80. Paul was born and raised in Bradley, Oklahoma. He spent his working life as a derrick hand in the oilfield industry. Paul shared over forty years with the love of his life Sue (Landrum) Capps. He was a loving husband and a caring father and grandfather. Paul was devoted to his family and they were truly the light of his life. He thought that grandkids made the world go around and his great grands held a very special place in his heart. Paul loved the outdoors and enjoyed all the moments he was able to fish and hunt. He enjoyed working with his hands and had built many pieces of furniture for family and friends. He found companionship with his dogs and they brought him a lot of pleasure in life. Paul showed affection through jokes, flirting, being playful, and making people laugh. Anyone who met him would always leave with a smile on their face. Paul brought joy to the lives of his family, friends, and anyone he met. He will be missed greatly. Left to cherish the memory of Paul is his wife, Sue Capps of Wanette, Oklahoma; his daughters, Jennifer Morris of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Kimberly Johnson of Alex, Oklahoma; his step-daughter, April McKinney of Tribbey, Oklahoma; his sister, Sudie Taylor of Texas; his step-brother, Steve Schoolfield of Texas; eight grandchildren, Misty, Derek, Valarie, Ashley, Shalyn, Taylor, Janie, & Freyja; ten great-grandchildren, Carmen, Carter, John, Jessie, Sophia, Bentlee, Blaiklee, Layne, Waylon, & Lacie; and a very close nephew, Robert Pinnick of Bradley, Oklahoma. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Mary Ruth Schoolfield, and a sister, Mary Nell Pinnick. A graveside to honor the life of Paul is set to begin at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at the Bradley Cemetery in Bradley, Oklahoma.
