William Bradley Greathouse Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bradley William Greathouse, Jr., age 25, of Lindsay, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord Saturday morning, November 1, 2003 at the OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Brad was born August 8, 1978 in Phoenix, Arizona to Bradley W. Greathouse and Anita Dowdell. Bradley grew up and attended schools in Doylestown, Ohio. He moved to Lindsay in 1993. Brad graduated from Lindsay High School in 1997. While attending high school, Brad also attended Mid-America Vocational Technical School in Wayne, Oklahoma. Brad was proud of the fact, that, not only was he the first member of his family to graduate from high school, he also graduated from Vo-Tech school with a certification in drafting. Brad was a drafting and computer aided design technician at Seminole Transportation and Gathering, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Brad married Brandi McCoy on September 28, 1996 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lindsay, Oklahoma. Brad enjoyed many hobbies including drawing, playing guitar and singing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his wife and two daughters. Brad will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Brad is survived by his wife, Brandi, of the home. Brad is also survived by two daughters, Brianna Katrice and Braydan McKenna, of the home; his mother, Anita Dowdell of Lindsay, Oklahoma; his paternal grandmother, Wynona Betterson; his maternal grandmother, Louise Howze; and step-grandfather, Claude Howze. He also leaves behind his half-brother, Daniel Holley; and two half-sisters, Shayna Dowdell and Heather Gregory. Brad is also survived by many other family and friends. Brad was preceded in death by his father, Bradley William Greathouse, Sr.; and his grandfather, Jasper Greathouse. Funeral services for Brad will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at the First Baptist Church, Lindsay, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, Oklahoma. Reverend Monty Baggett, Pastor of the South East Baptist Church, Muskogee, Oklahoma and Reverend Randy Allen, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Lindsay, Oklahoma will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
