Rosetta Clark Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rosetta Clark of Lindsay, Oklahoma went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 6, 2014 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 91. Rosetta was born on May 23, 1923 in Oil City, Oklahoma to Melvin and Ellar Patterson. She married A. C. Clark in Oil City, Oklahoma on June 11, 1950. Rosetta raised her family in Lindsay, Oklahoma, and had worked as a phone operator and a seamstress. She was an active member of the Erin Springs Baptist Church. She was also a member of ONGERS, AARP, Purdy Home Extension Club and the Hospital Auxiliary. Rosetta loved sewing, quilting and crochet. She also enjoyed traveling, reading the Bible, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, fishing and spending time with her family at the lake. She will be greatly missed. Rosetta is survived by her children: Marolyn Janelle Bryant of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Charles Clark of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Donna Wallace and husband James of Lindsay, Oklahoma, one sister, Katherin Nordman of Odessa, Texas, and three grandchildren: Kellye Swearingen and husband Toby of Seminole, Shellye Register and husband Andy of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Andy Wallace of Lindsay, Oklahoma as well as one granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Bryant of Shawnee, Oklahoma. She also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren: Lilly Bryant, Hope Register, Grace Bryant, Jake Swearingen, Andon Register, Kamryn Wallace and Mia Bryant. Rosetta was preceded in death by her husband, A. C. Clark on October 9, 1981, one sister, Inez Cook, one brother, Melton Patterson and one grandson, Kent Bryant. Funeral services for Mrs. Clark are set for two o?clock p.m. on October 10, 2014 at the Erin Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Clay Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
