Oscar Lee Frost Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Oscar Lee Frost, age 81, passed away on March 13, 2002 in Lindsay, OK. He was born on Sept. 2, 1920 in Frogville, OK to Thomas J. Frost and Annie Lee Stephenson Frost. Mr. Frost was a member of the Masons, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He served in the military during WW II from Nov. 1942 and Jan. 1946. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Frost of Lindsay. They were married on May 23, 1942 in Muskogee, OK. Three children, Donna Lee Butcher, Mary Ann Young and Mark Frost. One Grandson, Bryan Young and three great grandchildren, Madison Young, Rachel Nicole and Dylan Lee Frost. Surviving brothers and sister are T. J. Frost, Charles Frost, Jack Frost, Bob Frost and Josephine Collins. He is preceded in death by both parents; one grandchild, David Young; and by two brothers, Herbert Ellis and William Frost. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2002 at Calvary Baptist Church in Lindsay, OK with Rev. Steve Gardner and Rev. Mark Frost officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay. Pallbearers will be David Gentry, Jerry Smith, Bobby Gray, Gene McCoy and Homer Rinehart.
