Julia Elizabeth Baker Mantooth age 90, of Lindsay, OK passed away in Maysville, OK on November 1, 2001.She was born at Rosedale, OK on March 2, 1911. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Columbus Mantooth. They were married in 1926 in Lindsay, OK. Julia was a homemaker and mother. She lived in Lindsay all her life and was a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, tending her chickens and cooking. She is survived by her grandchildren, Richard, Joe and David Mantooth and Sammy, Steven, and Jan Howard. Also by eleven great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is also preceded is death by one son , Jody Mantooth on Feb. 16, 1992; and one daughter, Wanda Louise Mantooth Howard in March 2001; and one grandson, Donnell Eugene Howard. Funeral arrangements are with B. G. Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay. A graveside service will be held in Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2001.
