John William Fisher Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

John William Fisher, age 87, of Oak Grove, Louisiana passed away , Monday September 2, 2002. He was born in Mulberry, Arkansas on August 10, 1915 to Josh Fisher and Bonnie Claunch Fisher. He graduated from Fox High School in 1933. He continued his education at Cameron Junior College and received a 2 year certificate in 1935. Before retirement John was employed by Phillips 66. He was a member of Fox Baptist Church in Fox, Oklahoma. He survived by children Johnny D. Fisher of Oak Grove, Louisiana; Donald Joe Fisher of Huntsville, Alabama; and Kerry M. Fisher of Lindsay, Oklahoma. Grandchildren Brandi Milsap, Latrell Fisher, Tobin Fisher, Jeremy Fisher, Josh Fisher, Kevin Fisher, and Keri Humphries. Great grandchildren Jami Milsap, Jesse Milsap, Matthew Cable, Josh Cable, Crystal Humphries, Maddison Fisher, Kaitlyn Fisher, Nicholas Fisher, and Noah Fisher. He is preceded in death by his wife, on ctober 28, 1962, Carmeta Florence McDonald Fisher they were arrived in Gainsville, Texas in 1935; and both parents. Graveside services will be Thursday, September 5, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay. Memorial may be viewed online at www.boydstonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are with B.G.
