James E. Crabb

James E. "Cotton" Crabb, age 73, of Lindsay, OK, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2001 in Pauls Valley, OK. He was born in Pernell, OK on October 10, 1927 to Jessie F. Crabb and Ina Riggle Crabb. He was married to Virginia Lois Barnhill on January 28, 1950 in Lawton, OK. James served in the military with the Air Corp from January 1946 to August 1947. He was employed with Pyramid Oil Company in Taft, California as a Tool Pusher from 1966 until his retirement in 1986. He worked as a Pumper for Mach Oil Company from 1950-1959. He moved to California in 1959. Survivors include his wife, Lois of the home. Three sons, Don Crabb, Tommy Lynn Crabb and Robert Dale Crabb all of Bakersfield, CA. One daughter, Pamela Sue Shepard fo Lindsay, OK.Four grandchildren, Laurie Ann Crabb, Julie Ann Crabb, Tonya Lynn White and Bobby Blevins. Three great grandchildren, Terrance Edward White and Amy Lynn and Amanda White Funeral arrangements are with B. G. Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay. A graveside service wil be held in Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay on Sunday, April 29, 2001 at 2:00 p.m.Military Honors will be presented by the Lindsay American Legion Post # 23.
