Ila Baker, age 79, was born to Fred and Katie Baker on August 18, 1921 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She died on December 18, 2000 in Purcell, Oklahoma. Ila was a member of the Cox City Baptist Church. She lived most of her life in Lindsay and enjoyed watching television. She is survived by two sisters, Frances Wood and Lena Wood, both of Lindsay, Oklahoma and a brother, J. R. Baker of Vidor, Texas. Ila was preceded in death by both parents. Funeral arrangements are with B.G. Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay, OK. Services will be held in the Boydston Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 21, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Alvin McConnell officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, Oklahoma.
