Hazel Hess

September 18, 1920 - August 14, 2004

Hazel Hess passed away August 14, 2004 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 83. Hazel was born September 18, 1920 to Clyde and Ollie Bell. Hazel married Ray Roeseler and after his death married Charles Hess. She lived in the Oklahoma City area for approximately 60 years before moving to Northern Arizona for 8 years and then to Springfield, Missouri for the past two years. Hazel was a member of the Crossroads Assembly of God church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing and spending time with her family. Hazel was a seamstress and sewing teacher. Preceding her in death are Ray Roeseler and Charles Hess, one son, Larry Roeseler, and two brothers, Oliver Kenneth Bell, and Clyde Weldon Bell. Hazel is survived by two sons, Ronald Roeseler, Oklahoma City, OK, and Charles Hess, Glenrose, Texas, one daughter, Vickie Maddox of Springfield, Missouri, one sister, Louise Lampley, Vallejo, California, and 12 grandchildren, Allen Roeseler, Lisa Roeseler, Larry Don Roeseler, Steffan Byrd Cabelka, Teralyn Byrd Miller, Jared Hess, Walker Hess, James Anthony Roeseler, Jacob Ryan Roeseler, Christopher Roeseler, Cady Scarlett Cabelka, Jaidyn Hess, and an extended family of loving in-laws. Services for Hazel will be held at the Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, Oklahoma at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20, 2004. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home.
