Harold Clayton Taylor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Harold Clayton Taylor was born on December 9, 1937 in Ninnekah, Oklahoma to William and Cleo Taylor. He lived in the Lindsay area most of his life. He married Barbara Jean Hanley on May 19, 1956 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Harold worked as a mechanic in the oilfield, working pipeline construction for many years and was a member of the Church of Christ. He loved fishing, yard work and woodworking. He also enjoyed playing 42 and other games and watching "The Thunder". Mostly, he loved spending time with his family. Mr. Taylor passed from this life on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at his home in Lindsay at the age of 75. Harold is survived by his wife, Barbara Taylor, two sons, Phil Taylor and wife Renee and and Curtis Taylor and wife Stephanie, his daughter, Lana Thomason and husband Phillip, four brothers: Boice Taylor, Ronnie Taylor, Wesley Taylor and Danny Taylor and one sister, Betty English. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Ami Campbell, John Taylor, Audra Barr, J. C. Taylor, Kirsten Slavik, Luke Thomason, Sydney Thomason, Jaxon Taylor and Savannah Thomason and his great-grandchildren: Clayton Davis, Kendrick Campbell, Casey Campbell, Carson Campbell, Kolby Slavik, Carley Taylor and Olivia Taylor. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, William and Cleo Taylor, three sisters, Wilma Painter, Fern Larabee and Ruth Clift and four brothers: Loyd Taylor, J. B. Taylor, Buford Taylor and Gerold Taylor. Funeral services for Mr. Taylor are set for ten o?clock a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Church of Christ, located on Highway 19 West in Lindsay, Oklahoma with words of comfort by Jay Hanley, Wesley Taylor, Ronnie Taylor and Phillip Thomason. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
