December 23, 1933 - November 26, 2019
Betty Delaine (Putman) Hall, was born to Robia Coke Putman and Mary Margaret (Justice) Putman, on December 23, 1933, in De Queen, Arkansas. She entered into her eternal rest on November 26, 2019, at the age of 85. Betty spent most of her adult life as a resident of Lindsay, Oklahoma. In 2008, she moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to be closer to her daughter. Betty was a member of the Church of Christ. Betty met and married the love of her life James L. Hall in Lovington, Texas, on March 1, 1948. Together they had two daughters, Frances and Barbara. They had fifty-nine years full of love and adventure before he was called home on January 18, 2008. Betty loved to work with her hands and her mind. She had many things that she found joy in doing, from cooking, collecting rocks, sewing, painting, watch tv, reading, music, fishing, and to play with her dogs, Sadie Sue and PJ. She loved nature and all it had to offer. She and her late husband loved to garden, the bigger the better, and she loved to tend to her flowers. She was a homemaker at heart and all she did was to make sure her home was in order and family had everything they needed. She was a good wife, a caring mother, and loving grandmother. Her family was truly her greatest accomplishment in life and she loved them greatly. She always set a great example of what a godly lady should be and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Betty is survived by her daughters, Frances Hall and Barbara Hall, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a niece, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband James Hall, her parents, Robia and Mary Putman, and a sister, Jeanelle Pettigrew.
