B.J. Ramsey of Lindsay, age 72, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2002 in his home in Lindsay. He was born to Charles Trammell Ramsey and Ora Della Slate Ramsey on May 12, 1930 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. B.J. lived in Lindsay the majority of his life. He owned and operated B. J.s APCO Service Station. He was a member of the Church of God in Lindsay. B.J.s favorite activities were feeding squirrels, working in the yard, and spending the remainder of his time with Tweety. B.J. is survived by his wife Sue of the home. They were married on October 14, 1950 at the Church of God in Lindsay. Children Larry Ramsey and wife Debbie of Maxwell, Texas; Karen Shores and husband Jeff of Independence, Missouri; and Terra Caldwell and husband Randy of Lindsay. Siblings Betty Cutler and husband Don of Oklahoma City; Bill Ramsey and wife Wanda of Lindsay; and twin brother Earnest Ramsey and wife Bonnie of Elmore City. Grandchildren Joanna Ramsey Koliba, John Ramsey, Jennifer Shores and Meagan Caldwell. Great grandchildren Trenton Koliba and Brady Koliba. B.J. is preceded in death by both parents, sister Helen Wafford. Services will be Friday, November 22, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of God in Erin Springs, under the direction of Rev. Clifford W. Elliott with Rev. Bryan Archer assisting. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be viewed online at www.boydstonfuneral home.com Arrangements are with B. G.
