Barbara Stinnett

Barbara "Lavenia" Stinnett, age 69, of Lindsay, OK, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2001 at her home in Lindsay, OK. She was born on December 23, 1931 to Frank Xavier and Martha Ellen Durbin Meyers in Walters, Oklahoma. Lavenia was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and had lived in Lindsay all of her life after the age of 30. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Crystal, Tommy, Kolt, Nicki, Matt, Kalyn, Jennifer, Jessica, and Fury and her great-grandson, Clayton. Lavenia also enjoyed spending time with her children and was employed as a housekeeper before her retirement. Survivors include four daughters, Debbie and husband, David Williams of Phoenix, AZ; Jeanine and husband, Lynn Watkins of Lindsay, OK; Tammy and husband, Mike Day of Cement, OK; and Lisa Stinnett of Blanchard. Grandchildren: Crystal, Tommy, Kolt, Nicki, Matt, Kalyn, Jennifer, Jessica, and Fury and Great Grandson, Clayton. She was preceded in death by her parents, two children, Belinda Darlene Stinnett and Tommy Boyd Stinnett, one brother, Bobby Meyers and one sister, Mary Ellen McFall. Funeral arrangements are with B. G. Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay. Services will be held in the St. Peters Cathlolic Church in Lindsay on Thursday, February 22, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. with Father David Monahan officiating.Burial will be in the Walters Cemetery in Walters, OK at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2001.
